Hence, Ms. Shaili Chopra here shares her ideas and expresses her viewpoints on the ‘Importance of communication in business environment’. An Indian business journalist, author and entrepreneur. As a business journalist, she is known for working at NDTV-profit and ETNOW and has won the 2012 Ramnath Goenka Award for Excellence in Business Journalism, including a few other awards. She then switched to being an entrepreneur and wrote three books. She has also covered international events like the G-20, WEF@Davos, The Bretton Woods Conference 2011, India Economic Summit and the World Retail Congress. She was named one of India's 50 most influential women in media, marketing and advertising by Impact Magazine. She was the lead anchor of ETNOW before she became an entrepreneur. It is important for a woman and girl to be able to freely express a full range of emotions without being judged. Shaili Chopra is an Indian journalist turned entrepreneur whose work is focused on championing real women and their stories across India. Chopra is the founder of SheThePeople.TV, which is India's only women's channel. SheThePeople.TV is a form of digital democracy where women get to choose, speak up, and set the agenda. Chopra uses the internet to spotlight issues of women's rights, their role in a democracy, and empower them in a digitally connected world. Chopra is the recipient of India's highest honor in journalism and counted among the top 50 most influential women in media in India and is the Draper Hills Fellow 2019 from Stanford. She is also a Vital Voices fellow. She holds a BA in Economics from Delhi University and a Masters diploma in Journalism from the Asian College of Journalism in Chennai.
